Volunteer
Your time is valuable to us, too.   You can make a difference in a child's life by giving some of your precious time.  The New Foundation depends on the love and commitment of community volunteers to build our organization.  We are not in this alone.  It takes many people to build a community based on love, trust, and understanding.  Here are just some of the things we need help with from people like you:

  • Development Team: Develops strategic plan for fund raising and may chair the special events committees.  Helps to develop long term donors by building relationships with members of the community that support the work of The New Foundation and our mission statement.  Develops plan and policy for expanding the board of directors.
  • Marketing: Creates marketing plan to increase awareness in the community of The New Foundation and supports fundraising efforts with effective public relations.
  • Special Events & Fundraising events: We need people  to help with our programs in fundraising.  Currently we are seeking people to help serve concessions at all ASU and Cardinal football games for the 2005 season.  Plus, some of our grassroots fundraising efforts are always in need of people to help even a small amount of time.
  • Movers and Shakers: The golden rule of fundraising is that people give to people for people.  Perhaps you know others that may want to help The New Foundation with a gift.  Just spread the word and ask for their help.  If you have networking meetings, a church group, friends or acquaintances nothing is better than just asking people for a donation for something worthwhile.  You may be surprised how well this works and we can always use more good words on the street.
